wires

Nology wires help on some cars. They have some improvement in torque on some cars. If your ignition is not up to par then it will boost it up. Works on Turbo/Supercharged/N20 cars really well.
Because the spark is very strong it tends to kill the internals of certain spark plug brands. Depends on the internal construction of the spark plug.

Plugs I have had good luck with:
Bosch Silver
Autolite Gold
NGK

Natrually Aspirated Cars:
On the dyno we have seen 10 to 15% increase in torque over a range which does not include peak torque. Sometimes we might see a 3-7 HP improvement on a 4 cylinder motor. As far as 1/4 mile times I have not seen much improvement.

I have been selling Nology wires since 1996.

go with magnecor wires. www.magnecor.com. You can read about nology wires at this site. Ive had a set of nology wires on a maxima and they lasted like 3 months. Stick with magnecor.

Save your money. The LH system generates more than enough, and if you use quality wires from BOSCH or BERU, you'll be fine. If they are the original wires on even a 1994 E500, IMHO, it's about time to change them out.

You do have a new cap & rotor in the last 60K miles.

BTW- I now you're building an "extreme" show car, but the wires on a 500E are hidden. Beru does have blue and black wires as well. They might even have yellow.

I have Nology wires on my 16V Scirocco...they are nicer than stock and with the Beru Silverstone plugs the car runs like a champ....but they are alot thicker than OEM so they may pose a problem when routing them in the tight E500.

Hendy has the Magnacore wires and I believe he likes them very much....in either case though...on the M119 motor don't expect to see much of a difference if any at all.

Call Randy at EPS Parts (http://www.epsparts.com), he can customer order a set with a LIFETIME warranty.

As I mentioned before, the wires are hidden on the M119 engine, so why worry about color?

Pics...I don't know...all I've seen are the motor and the mirror ...how about a nice full side shot or 3/4 view? or point me to the post where you have other shots.

Taxi cab! ...that's funny....get one of those lite-up plastic 'off duty' signs for the roof.
