Starfest 2002 - We'll be there!
 

We plan to have our MB Autowerks / MercedesShop CLK55 KLEEMANN car at Starfest this year! :D

Michael Curcio volunteered to drive the car to Indy and represent us in all of the driving events. What a guy!
In addition we will have representation from KLEEMANN USA as well. Harald Galinski, Marketing Director, will be there from KLEEMANN USA.

Hopefully, we will have the car outfitted with the KLEEMANN speed sensitive suspension, 19" wheels and Toyo T1-S tires. This is in addition to the Kompressor which is already installed.

All MercedesShop members who plan to attend Starfest are invited to stop by and meet Michael, Harald and of course see our CLK55K. Michael will be armed with lots of goodies....

Word has it that there will be a RennTech 6.0 at Starfest this year. We would LOVE to see a KLEEMANN - RennTech shootout!!!

Donnie and I wish we could be there but, we have to stay behind at MB Autowerks and "pay the bills". :(

Looking forward to meeting a few of you guys! Well, not REALLY looking forward to seeing Tackman and his RENNTech 6.0-the boy's quite good at hustling a car around a racetrack, so will assuredly be the man to beat :eek:

Dave, I'm sure KLEEMANN will have a blower for the new E-it's still using the same motor, so I would imagine they just need to fit everything under that low hood. Thinking about a new E500??

How on earth did you get yourself into that car! I'm concerned, will the 500E be enough after you've driven this car?

I would love to hear your direct comparison of this car vs the 500E and the differences you find other than the acceleration.

How about losing those 15lbs and getting a Kleeman, you can't beat that!

Well, If I didn't drink all that beer 'hicup', I could shed the inches and have enough cash leftover for the Kleemann:D j/k....Kleemann will be on the "wish list" before I know it.

Currently waiting on delivery of a new toy:

-fad got me thinking about this one with his run to So. Cal. with the entourage...haulin' butt and no tickets!

Do you think the rear sunshade will do a good job of hiding the V1?

Well I know that I can't tell an apple from an orange through that sunshade. I can't imagine anyone could see through that from the rear. The biggest problem I have with the sunshade is that you can't easily detect an officer sneaking up on you from behind unless you use the side mirrors frequently. That makes me nervous.

So, who's coming?
