Good Afternoon!

I just had the cam chain checked on my 92 500E with 66k miles.
I was advised that it was stretched to 3 degrees an d should be changed. also advised that my wire harness should also be changed. How much should these fixes ciost and is it critical do do them immediately. I would appreciate any imput from the experts. Thanks!
