request: 500E/E500 (W124) BOSCH Euro headlamp wiring diagram

Hello, my friends.

I need a 500E/E500 BOSCH Euro headlamp wiring diagram, please - not the whole EE schematic... just a pin-out/plastic header wire-position diagram (for where the headlamps plug into the plastic wiring block-assemblies.

I ask because (yesterday) I upgraded my W124 BOSCH Euro headlamps (that fit under a 1994 E500 hood) to the new ones with chrome-plated interiors (much brighter) and, for some reason, things aren't 100% correct.

Specifically, when my parking lights are switched on, followed by the headlamps - followed by turning off the headlamps and returning the light-switch to the parking light position (only), my passenger-side headlamp stays on.

: (

I also need to confirm that the middle, two lights (in the headlamp assemblies, closest to the hood-grill) can ONLY come on when the headlamps are in "high-beam" mode. In other words, please confirm that it is *impossible* to be driving along with ONLY the fog-lights and center-most lights ON (although this would look CLEAN).

I am awaiting a fax from Bekkers; however, it has not arrived, yet...

You may e-mail me image-files at: nemo@nemonis.net

RSVP / thank you,

Hi Scott-

Confirmed on your lighting options - the middle closest to the grill lights are Aux Driving Beams (long pencil beams) that may be on only with High Beam (w/ or w/out foggies- - I can put all six on at the same time)

sorry can't help with the specific pin configuration, (its at home), but Paul at PUMA can fax it over to you-- or you can search for it here....Barrie's post I believe

Barrie's post you can use to wire up your city lights too (little inner set lights in the euros)- - if there' not done already.

good luck and let us know what turns out.
