1992 500E leak's origin?

Gentlemen,

I have a 1992 500E with 95K miles on it. I only drive it on the weekend. It recently develops a leak (engine oil). I have a couple of drops each time i come back from a drive spotting the driveway. I did not open up the belly pan to find out where the leak is. I'm hopping it is the oil pan gasket. If it is not the gasket what are the other locations in the engine compartment where the leak occurs. Please response with the mostlikely to least likely location.

First thing's first - you have to remove the noise encapsulation pan; clean it, and then properly clean everything up under there. Focus specific attention on the steering box and the tranny cooler lines to make sure they're clean. Otherwise, we're all just guessing blindly
