I had the chance to see a 88 300CE that had this kit done. Unfortunately the shop that did it butchered the car. Not sure if it had to do with the kit or the shop, but the car was basically ruined.

The complete front radiator support and front framing had to be cut out, and angle iron welded in. The only quality parts were the headlights, MB originals. The hood and the fenders, were thin fiberglass, with a stick to hold the hood open.

There is a shop in Maine that sells the kits and I have often thought of goin up to see a car they had done themselves, but as of yet have not. If anyone has seen one in person, I would be interested in thier opinions as well.

Just my $.02

hey dean
thanks for the input...
i thought for the price of the kit, that it was sheet metal and not fiberglass....ugh...

oh well...
i wonder if there is a way to take current e320 front end parts and fit them onto the 92 w124 chassis?

the rounded style of the w210 does not look good with the more boxy look of the w124.

The kit would devalue the car in my opinion. if I saw one, no matter how decked out it was, I would pay less for it than an equivalent stock w124 coupe.

To me a kit like that is not worth it unless you have had major front end damage done, and are looking to make a custom show car. for street use, I would hate to see one on the road.

I saw one before, and it did not look good in person. in pictures it looked very nice.

Rich, dude,

I've been keeping up to speed on your posts from time to time, and I can't wait to see your car with the headlights and the new wheels.

Have you bought the wheels yet, and if so, where did you get them? I forgot, but didn't you post once that the wheels you are going to buy are Brabus?

Did you ever find the headlight wipers?

Sleepless in So. Cal....

Paul, Rich got a steal of a deal on some brabus mono's like ernestos.

The lights aren't in yet. rich has been busy, and we have not had a chance to meet up to install them.

Good choice on the wheels!

I think my two favorite wheels are the Carlsons that Ashman has and the Brabus that you bought.

Can I ask where you got the wheels?
