1985 500sel Amg
 

I have a european 1985 500SEL AMG converted in Germany at AMG. It has a 5.4 engine, limited slip differential, all chrome blacked out (black with grey leather interior) AMG speedometer 300KMPH ect.
Does anybody have an AMG like this? I have only found one in Indiana. From what I can tell this is not a common car and I am interested in getting specs and tune up parameters for this engine.
This car will hold its own with most any machine that I've run across. Any comments would be appreciated.

Sounds like a *****in' ride...got pics? Try an e-mail to AMG in Affalterbach with your VIN and model...I'm sure they will have the info you need.
I'm also sure there are probably very low numbers of your car in the US...rare indeed...any idea on who imported it and federalised it?
