Handling improvements

Howdy all. I have a 2.3 16v, it has had the rear self leveling equipment removed and replaced with springs from the 2.6.

I don't know the first thing about handling, but I know that I when I push my car, it seems to feel a bit unstable. I'm talking about driving that I probably shouldn't be doing on back roads, but still...

Could somebody explain the terms understear, overstear, body roll, what they feel like, and how to correct them? Be explicit with the terms, i'm a bit of a dunderhead occasionally.

Dan

Hi Dan!

I did the same thing to my 1986 16v, but I have sportline rear springs coupled with Bilstein Sports shocks. This combination handled alot better than when I had regular 2.6 rear springs and stock Boge shocks installed before the Sportlines.

Have fun with your car!
