3 free hp for 2.3-16

I love numbers, that's why I am in finance. I was looking at my 190E 2.3-16 manual and I noticed something strange. The conversion from kW to HP was incorrect. Germans calculate their kW to Pferdestarke or hp using a 1:1.36 conversion. Don't try to dispute my claim with the SAE vs DIN argument because my calculation work for every other make and model conversion. E.g Euro non-cat 2.3-16 had 136KW or 185 hp. Old Porsche 911 Turbo 221 or 300. Well the manual which had to be written by a German scholar states 125kW or 167hp which is incorrect. 125 is 170hp. Look up current cars on German sites and you can see more of that conversion. My Jetta 1.8T is 110kw or 150hp, if were stock(wink-wink). So we 2.3-16 owners have 170 not 167!! I will sleep better tonight. You can send check or money order for the free hp to me. I take paypal.

Hmmmmmmmm.

I'm guessing then that my diesel engine really has 94.5 horsepower instead of 93. Tomorrow morning I'm going to rush right out and see if I can feel the difference!

Maybe I won't need that turbocharger after all.

hey wait... does this mean I have 180 instead of 177? Could this be true?!!!

Well it doesn't matter, I lie all the time and say my car has 200hp... everyone used to laugh when I said I had 177

My first dyno pulls in the mod 2.3-16 showed 350hp to the rear tires. Hmmmmm.
