Any W124 owners with AMG body kit or replica on there car?

Hello. Does anyone have any pics of a W124 sedan with an AMG body kit or AMG replica on it? I am seriously considering doing this to my car, but dont want to drop all this money and be disappointed.

Thanks to all that respond.

-Andy

Ashman is installing the AMG kit on his 300CE after the wreck. He has been posting pics throughout the process recently.

what about chrome

I have a question I've been meaning to ask. I want to keep my factory chrome accents on the front and rear bumpers. I noticed everyones kits dont have the chrome accents. Is it possible to keep them with an AMG body kit?

My Prev. car (93' 300E 3.2L AMG) had a full AMG kit, rims, and a nice slam...the kit was a EREBUNI replica kit, I will never invest in a kit like that (quality reasons, not looks) But my car got more attention then my friends 500E that car looked PHAT, White, white grill, light gray interior, euro lights, 18" AMG MONO II's...
But if your thinking of getting a kit, You should invest into WALD or AutoCuture! both these kits are extremely unique but if not, AMG is really nice

After the ///Benzsport GTG this last weekend, I decided I'm getting the AMG front spoiler. I'm trying to keep all AMG (for resale reasons). I'm waiting for Performance Products to have their 15% off sale. Then painting all the skirts Pearl Black, adding stiffer springs and shocks. Yea!

Thanks for all the replys.

Albert, I checked on those WALD kits. They are really nice! Very expensive though. I couldnt find the auto culture ones though.

Craig, I like your idea. If I dont do the whole kit, I will be doing what you are doing. How much does performance products get for their AMG spoiler? I couldnt find it on their website. And which AMG spoiler are you getting, the 1st generation (boxy) or 2nd(rounder)?

So how fast have you had your E420 with the 2.82 in it? Ive had mine right around 155, the tach was at exactly 6000 before I ran out of road. With the stock 2.24 It would get to about 145 and die out due to the tall gearing. Ive calculated that the car now will go 165.4 MPH in theory if it can hit the 6450 rev limiter. Before, with the stock 2.24 diff, the car could attain 208.2 MPH at rev limiter!!! Maybe if we had superchargers (ahem, Bergwerks )

amg280-

Performance Products doesn't have them on their web site. They are $950 for the front spoiler. There is a 1st generation spoiler on Ebay now, about $500, but I don't like the look.

It's hard to find a big stretch and go for top speed here. But this past weekend a reached 125+. That was fun. I'm most impressed when I nail it at 10mph and the car shifts into 1st and pins you in the seat. My friend with a 500SL is even impressed.

if you have the facelifted w14, go for the newer style amg kit, it suits the car much better.

Since I have the older front on my 300CE, I have the AMG style kit for the previous years, and it looks sweet as hell. Wait till I post the pics when I pick up the car!

Do not get an erebuni kit unless you want a headache, luckily I used a bodyshop that is top notch, and also used to install all the kits for CEC.

BTW, everyone I know says that all kits need work to fit right, even oem factory kits. The difference is that some are easier than others.

I am not able to use the chrome strips on my kit, but thats ok, because I am blacking it all out anyway.

Look for pics int he next few days, I pick up my car tomorrow, and it looks super phat now.

My bodyshop guy loves how it looks.

The group purchase for the AMG body kit is just about to happen. Email me if you're interested.

Thanks,

I need to know the year of your W124. The guy is trying to find out which styles are still avail. from AMG. Also will need VIN #.

Let me know if you want the entire body kit, or front spoiler.

Craig
