that car looks like it's a Right Hand Drive...where are you located?
does it have a manual or automatic gearbox? does it have service records? who's maintained the car, dealer or...? the car appears to be originally a british model. I don't know whether the 2.5-16 is worth much more than a 2.3-16. by some accounts, although the car is faster it doesn't have the same edginess that the 2.3-16 has and therefore most of the additional value would be in the fact that it's 2 years newer than the last 2.3-16. then again, it's a specialty car and it's value is typically determined by what the market can bear. at 125,000 (i'm assuming miles since you don't specify) you can get a decent 2.3-16 in the US and Canada for around $7,000-$10,000 USD. do some research in your area and see if you can find any other 16Vs for sale and use them as a gauge. another good place to check is ebay. and try the country specific ebay sites. again, that car looks like a RHD. i've heard that the exhaoust headers on RHDs are prone to cracking.

In the UK mileage is everything on cars like the Cosworth...
My 86 2.3 is probably worth more as its only done 85,000 I'd estimate its value at £4000-£5000 max if it had faultless history. The exhaust headers used to crack on the RHDs, but almost all have been replaced under recall and warranty. To compare go to: www.autotrader.co.uk But I'd guess you're in the UK?
