Sure, I think your car would look muuuuuuch better if you painted the lower half to match the rest of the car.

I have seen the car with another the same colour single tone and it didn't look as good, i'll see its not hard to change the colour so i maybe try it.

mike looks Great!. I have never been a big fan of burgundy, but I must say, its a good color on the coupe.

I would look into the monotone.

Other than that, I would drop it. and ya might as well do the SLK pedal upgrade. really feels nice under the feet, and looks good too.

Let me know on the drivers side mirror for a coupe. Its my next mod, I want to do it badly.

oh yeah, paint the brake calipers red or something. would look great under those wheels.

I like the two-tone. It looks real sharp! Also, I'd be interested in a "real" right hand side morror too.

j.hidalgo - yea i know my steering wheel is on the wrong side but what can you do.

momentum - The SL is brand new, keep your eyes peeled i'll post it in the next couple of days, its just night here now so i can't take a photo.

Ash - i plan on lowering it next, then exhaust, then tints, then i'll look at engines, then i'll do the interior. thats the last thing i'm gonna worry about. But the brake callipers are something i really want to do aswell, but i am trying to find a deep red, heat resistant paint. its pretty hard.

volosong - thanks mate, i think the two tone looks good aswell. it just makes it look different. i can hook you up with a mirror aswell if you want. good thing for you is you may even be able to sell the old mirror for close to what it costs to get the new one.

hey all what are your opinions on kits for these cars. i think they look good with out them. the only reason i'd get one would be because i wanted fog lights, but hey, i can live with the standard ones.

look for a porsche brake caliper paint kit. Thats the best red I have seen for brake calipers...

Re: right hand side mirror, I'm game. The basic black works on my car ('89 300CE, Smoke Silver with Mussle Grey lowers and with black mirrors and black bumper strips).
