500E/E500 front lip add-on!

Can anyone track down this add-on front spoiler lip?

Daesun: it looks like that is a whole new bumper cap, not just a lower extension....notice how it turns inward below the fog lamps before flaring out?

I still like the Neilsson Composite CF piece but he hasn't responded back with prices yet....

The right side appears different from the left. The right does not appear to have that indentation.

Hmm Toms right the left and right side edges do look different.

The bottom of the lip also looks a bit fuzzy almost like it was airbrushed or Photoshopped.

I tried to do a search for any manufacturers with the name on the front plate and nothing came up. Anyone else have any better luck? Maybe this lip doesn't exist?

Whoa, that's kuhl! Dean, for perhaps the first time ever, I disagree; to me it looks like an add-on piece. The fog lights appear unchanged (to me, anyway) as does the rest of the bumper.

Any of our German/Euro friends able to chime in on this?

I'm also of the opinion that it is an add-on piece, as there is a clear line that intersects the foglights horizontally, and the bumper is identical to stock form from that point upwards. As far as the left and ride sides being different, I think that's just the reflections creating an optical illusion. Here is another photo of the same lip:

I like it, but the Nilsson piece was nice as well. I think this one is worth looking into, if anybody can find a lead on it.

I know. Ain't it great?

It also appears to have a hood/front grille conversion a la W140 S500. I'm not a big fan of that, but the lip I like.

This company Gockel is listed in, "Custom Mercedes-Benz" if you guys have the book. They are a small company in the Schwabische Alps (Switzerland?) in Gammertingen specializing in wide body kits. Not much info on the web about them though, they may be out of business.

What's that vertical line in the rear window?

Yeah, Dean, I'm thinkin' 30-40mm spacers to get the fronts out that far....cool look, though

Swabische = Swabian. they're in German, not Swiss
