Are the E55's in high demand so that dealers charged more than MSRP. Did anyone order their E55? How long of a wait? Anyone know of a E55 still sitting on the dealer showroom floor? Any care to share their price?

You shouldn't have to pay more than the list price suggested. A honest dealer shouldn't mark up the price. Don't know about the situation in U.S. I got mine for 2000 CDN less than MSRP but that's because I know the manager. Although I did wait quite a bit (ordered in 97).
Hope this info helps |

The MB policy for Y2K is that dealers must charge MSRP for any car. The wait depends on when the dealer places the order. In '99 these cars were at MSRP or over.
I ordered my car with a 6 month wait. Some one ordered the same car as I did 3 months before me and cancelled. The dealer asked me if I wanted the first car to come in, so I grabbed it. My ordered car could be sitting on the showroom floor right now...
