Nitromenthane or Nitrous Oxide?
The answer is yes to both. Last edited by MTI; 02-12-2003 at 03:23 PM. |

I'm no expert, but on Nitrous Oxide you can get a wide range of horsepower gains depending on your setup. I would think that using any significant amount would require quite a bit of components to be replaced in the engine, and possibly the transmission.
My question however, is, why would you want to put nitrous on a 380SL? For the same money you could probably trade the 380 another SL with a larger engine and have the power increase all the time, rather than just when using Nitro (which would hopefully be on the track only). These cars weren't ment to give blistering 1/4 mile times though, assuming that's what you want Nitro for. You could get a older Camero or 5.0 Mustang and go fast MUCH cheaper. |
