TE lovers!! What do ya think of my winter beater?
Did a few mods to the TE. Different wheels and lowering in sstore for the summer,,,, if it ever comes.

Question: What wheels are those, and what's the offset? It looks like they stick out enough to rub the fenders under hard cornering (on DRY pavement, anyway). Also, what did you do to lower the car? Looks great!

Those are a Borbet wheel and I'm sorry I can't recall the type. Have had them for about 4 years so I downgraded them to winter use. Have no Idea what the offset is. I originally got them for the E420 and they DO rub under hard cornering. Actually I haven't lowered it yet. Just looks that way because of the wheels I guess. They are 16".

Looks great, thats an excellent example of a winter car. When we lived in the mid-west............................ oh never mind, the car was lets say not as nice.

Here's the front of my 420. All the chrome is painted EVERYWHERE except for the star. Has 17" AMGs with Pilot sports. Is lowered and has 36K on it. Used to drive it all the time till I hit a deer last year and picked up the TE.
