June 30 is FAT Friday @ Summit Point Raceway in W.VA. Car Guys is running a 1 day on track driver training program. It is a well run and organized event at SP, a 2.5 mile, 10 turn track. Cost is $195, BYOC. There are a few slots open. I'm heading out on Thursday, will be at the track at 7:30 AM Friday. Anyone else want to join me? It's close enough for you southern guys...

So far- NO RELPIES!! Very disappointing. You can drive as fast as you want and not worry about getting a ticket. It's safer than speeding on public highways cause it's a controlled event. You have more of a chance craking up your car on I95. Did I mention how much FUN it is?? COME ON! Change your brake fluid, pads and oil and bring a helmet!

Would love to be there...but will be on a cruise to Alaska. Next time though...look out I plan on being there...sounds like great fun. I am surprised that few of the M-B Club sections sponser track days. Conn.-Westchester just had one at Lime Rock but it
was sold out. It would be great to put together a clinic with some technicians who could advise on suspension tuning and performance enhancements. It is a blast to get off the road and let it fly around people you can trust.

I'll be on vaca in CA...me, the wifey, 2 of our 3 kids, a rented Caddy/Town Car and Disneyland! Your event sounds like more fun, but the kids insist on my attendance. And you KNOW I'd be there!

Isn't there another BMW AutoX at the Nassau Colisseum mid-July?!? Might be a good time to slide around a bit
