WOW is right! And nitrous too. I love the dual exhaust ... it appears to be done well, matching the rear valance and all. Over all, it appears to be a sleeper, especially with those wheels.

Please, someone buy it who lives near me!

Decisions, decisions! You get it and I'll wash it for you! Promise

LOL...no way! It would be cool to have that Brabus 190E but I couldn't part with either the 16V or the E500...the wagon is another matter but I doubt I could convince my wife!

I can definitely assist you when convincing your wife if it means I get first stab at buying the wagon!

???

I would have expected quite a bit more from such a car; is it me... or (with the exception of the dual exhaust) is this car a snoozzzzer to look at? I saw a 2.3-16, this morning, on 880 North that put this 201 to shame (visually)!!!

I respect the powerplant, but... how could this car have fallen into such *DISREPAIR* (visually)??? It looks absolutely filthy!!!

(>>shiver<<)

This car has been in and out of my father-in-law's shop a few years back. The mechanics say its put together fairly well but some things are a little primitive as expected for a car that old. Ever see the underside and engine bay of an old Hammer? There are many "shortcuts," for lack of words, that would no way pass AMG standards today. I asked how it drove and the general consensus was that it was pretty damn quick. I sold my 3.8L 190E recently and was considering doing this conversion beforehand (no nitrous). People say no way will it fit but here's proof.

Brabus's standards now are much higher than they were back then when that car was put together. I know one of the previous owners of the car. He said it was alright and pretty quick, but it wasn't put together like a mercedes should be. It is fairly quick, but the 190E with the M104 3.2 engine is much quicker, or even a 190E with a c36 motor.

Eurocoupe, I agree that AMGs standards now, as well as Brabus standards are much higher than they were in the 1980s. They both had to start somewhere, and learn how to modify cars safely and engineer the modifications to Mercedes Standards.

From a Euro 380SL or a R107 SL in Europe most likely.
