I was not sure which section to post this, but here it goes:

I own a Euro 190 2.3-16 with 56K original miles. It is in excellent original condition, has always been in Northern California, and has absolutely no rust. But, as crazy as it may seem, I am not driving it. This is mainly because my wife does not like it - too low, too rough. She likes a smoother, comfortable, and more practical car. That is why I bought a 1986 300E with a 5 speed. She likes it much better.
So now, I am at a cross roads. Do I properly store the 16v or sell it? To answer this question, I wanted to somehow find out what would be the value of a low miles 16v example in 10 years from now. I would think that there are people/organizations that can predict such things. Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

Sell it and let someone else enjoy it. It was made to be driven hard and enjoyed. Today they are the best buy re fun for the dollar of any MB. Nice low mileage 2.3-16 are available for under 10K. I don't ever see it becoming a true "classic". like you said, it rides too hard.

My daily driver is an '85 Euro 2.3-16. My wife drives the 300 D. I do have adjustable Konis and the springs are adjustable also. I can adjust the harshness of the ride, but I'll never be able to drive and drink a steady cup of coffee like in our larger sedans.

Get in touch with Brian16V here in the forum and sell it to him. He lives down here in Campbell and you will *for certain* make him drool.

Got pics? You can post them here you know...

I have seen in some of the books on the subject that low volume, especially the sport models become collectable. It must however be driven regularly to keep the seals from drying out and other such things. Drive it once a week? I, personally, would keep it.
