just to note as well, the chip should give your around 20 hp and torque extrra with 91 octane gas, and around 23 hp with 93 octane.

I'm definately going for it. With the chip I should be up to around 240 hp and 220 ftlbs of torque.

correction....sorry for the confusion...
out of state benz owners will have to send their ECU's in via FedEx to Powerchips to get them matched with the new Chip....
however to get discount all orders must be made through my order....
if you have any questions please let me know....

Do these chips work on a normally aspirated engine? If it would push my hp over 300, I would consider it. I just had under drive pulleys installed and they do make a noticeable acceleration difference and are supposed to add ~13hp to the rear wheels, and combined with a chip that adds 20+hp, now we're talking. The price of $840 isn't bad if it really delivers that hp.

Anyone have one of their chips?

i looked at a dyno reading from an audi after a power chip install, it didn't look smooth at all. I'd recommend getting a dyno run before you go, getting it done then having another read afterwards. check to see that the power flow is smooth, it should be in a similar curve to the stock read. if no then the car will just be getting erractic power and it might not be good for long term engine life. but that only IMHO i don't know for sure, but good luck guys wish i could get it done one my car but i'm not up to that yet. i need my new engine first.

Most of these universal chip companies over-rate their horsepower and torque increase. They also do not go well on cars with mods. I once dynoed my BMW below and after a chip install and horsepower and torque arrived earlier in the powerband BUT decreased overall. You'd probably see gains of around 5% at most, unless you have a force induction engine.

Just my $0.02.

I'm into trying this and my car is listed. They want $990.00 for a chip for the C43. I want the Gold93.

Count me in and see what kind of a discount we can get.
