I believe it is at 120mph and again at 140mph but that last one is fuzzy as I was watching the road very intently.

Better question is: Does anyone even remember what was playing as they're doing 140+ mph?

If I might venture to suggest appropriate music for that speed:

Radar Love - Golden Earring
Flirtin' with Disaster - Molly Hatchet
I Can't Drive 55 - Sammy Hagar

I distinctly remember hearing Wagner's - The Ride of the Valkyries during acceleration.

Top-end proceeded with Queen's We Will Rock You!

Dunno...I chucked the Becker !!

However, accelerating repeatedly from 65 to 140 MPH today (to better understand the phenomenon and thereby enhance this discussion) I didn't feel the need to click the Alpine up more than a notch or two.

The music was Eric Clapton's "If I could Change the World"; a rather nice acoustical piece IMHO.

I always thought a good piece to listen to at 140mph was Radar Love by Golden Earing.
...seems appropriate

Be carefull in Virginia checking the automatic volume control on your Benz at triple digit speeds. Recently the owner of a new Lexus explained to the judge that he was doing 120 mph on the Dullas toll road at 2 am in the morning just to see what the car would do. The judge sent him to jail. I can't confirm for how many days but one source said 30 days. That caught my attention.

At that speed you should be driving, not listening to the radio. I get to see autopsies on guys like you all the time.
BTW I have raced and rallied extensively and I rarely exceed 100 mph, at that speed the differential between you and other traffic is hazardous in the US where most drivers are so poor they are unsafe at any speed...
As I have said it enough to know you can blow away an ass**** any time!
