creating 360te

Looking for info.

On another posting there was mention of a "AMG fender spacer kit" for a 124 body. Can someone shed some light on this?

Thanks,

Joe

Neil, with the 1988 360TE AMG wagon posted about it in this thread. I think he bought them from AMG and has (or had) an extra set for sale:

Cool, got my baselines on it the other day, 162 rwhp peak, 168 rw torque peak, box stock 104. Now we start the swap, once the install is done, back to the dyno and I'll post the results. We are also debating getting it to the 1/8 mile track south of us for a few runs after the fact. Just for grins.

I cant wait either, this thing falls in like a civilised version of the 5.0 HO roller mill in the Yoda pickup I've been involved in.

Anyone know some good sources to price this spacer kit? I've also been looking at swapping on a set of 500e fenders and getting Ruiz to roll and widen the rear to match.
