New Wheels from MB Parts in Germany?

Has anyone ever attempted to purchase wheels from the "Mercedes-Benz Used Vehicles and Used Parts Centre" in Germany?

They offer used parts and overstocked inventory of Mercedes parts.

They have a ton of wheels available, some in sizes previously unseen in the US.

Here is the link, http://www.mbatc.de/english/index_e.htm for the English language with no links that end up with wheels. But, if you click this link you have access to the web page with wheels available only in the German language.

Click on the moving wheel on the right to see what is available and on the lower right link to see a .pdf of what appears to be every recent Mercedes wheel ever offered and wheels never seen in the US, including MB part #.

BTW, the prices are outstanding, the R230 5 star wheel available on the SL55 in 18x9.5 is 206 Euro's or $220 US.

I would guess that shipping would cost a pretty, uh . . . pfennig, or Euro cent, I guess. From recent experience, FedEx from Germany for a 7kg AMG steering wheel was $134.

I just ordered some rear spoilers.....UPS was $150 and Air Mail was $90 for the other. I brought in a reiger kit by air freight and it cost $1000!! Germany has always been $$$ unless you know someone in the US military.

As you can see, Hawaii MB owners are very sensitive to shipping issues.

Speed, did you order the versatec spoiler?

I got the Zender rear spoiler.....The one with the vents. I might have to ge the vestatec front unless someone has something better to offer. I might have to put a ricer wing on the track car. The back stretch at HRP gets real hairy at 150 mph.
