I am getting ready to lower my 92 500E. I need some suggestions as to what type of springs and shocks/struts. I also need to know where to get them and how much i should axpect to pay for them. Thanks in advance for your help.

Tirerack sells H&R springs for around $400. I have the Koni adjustables for the front from them too...around $150 each. Stock SLS in rear for me...for now. Some folks have been putting in 400E p/s pumps and Konis and plugging up the system.

I hear good things about the Bilstein Sport shocks too for the 500E.

I have a set of H&R springs i can sell to you for a good deal. I bought another 500E that i was going to fix up but i have decided that it was too many toys for me so im selling it, and the springs i never installed on it.

But thats the set up i have on my car, i have H&R springs and Bilstein sport shocks in the front but stock shock in the Rear.
