Sec Look
Has any one ever heard of doing this I was wondering if you could take the entire front end from a 560SEC and bolt it up to a 420 SEL I like the look of that car and it doesn't seem like it would be that hard to do has any one ever seen, done, heard about this type of swap?

I think someone has brought that up before. I think what it would come down to is that yes, it might be possible, but would be cost prohibitive. You would have to have new: fenders, hood, bumper, headlights.... There would be be another problem with the radiator support crossbeam and maybe the bumper mounts...You would basically have to take the car down to the bare frame rails from the doors forward, which that would require lots of expen$$$ive fabrication. But if you've got the cash, I'm sure we'd all enjoy seeing it!!

SEC foglamps on a SEL
That would get you a start. I have heard of someone doing it. Possibly find a car of the same color and work from there. Oh an SEC hood is about 1000 Dollars.
