I came across a wreck 91' 300CE-24V. Rolled over. The yard has dismantled the car and are willing to sell me the engine for $500. Has about 150,000km or 94,000miles thereabouts.

Its a good deal so I was wondering if I can just swap my M103 engine with this M104.

HOWEVER, they do not have the computer and wiring harness as there was a small fire when the car rolled.

Since its cheap, you guys know if it would be worthwhile to run an independent Engine Management System?

The engine itself is already worth 40bhp more than my M103. Inputs and comments welcome.

Be very wary. If an engine left is running while the car is upside down, it will be starved of oil.
