New to the board- thanks so far
I have been lurking for a few weeks and just wanted to thank all you guys for the information I have picked up about 500's. My wife’s Saab 9-5 Gary Fischer wagon is coming off lease and I am going to try and replace it with a 500 for me to drive. We have several Audi’s, which I love but I have wanted a 500 since seeing one at Churchill Downs 6 years ago after the Derby. Anyway, I am searching hard for a good car at a reasonable number- I think I would prefer a '94 because I like the look of the nose better. I will ask for your help in deciding along the way- thanks in advance for your opinions.

RPMNOSPIN,
Any 500E can be face-lifted with a '94 hood + grill assembly (mine has been, for example), quite easily/at relatively little expense. Some may consider the 1992 500E the most "desirable" of the family, due to its slightly higher BHP rating, but that is subject to healthy debate. No matter what you choose, you WILL be happy, I assure you! |
