Help! ID this alarm fob
I have a Euro E500. I only have one alarm controller. No one has been able to identify it. If anyone knows who makes this alarm please let me know. If I can't figure it out I will have to replace the whole system. That wouldn't be the end of the world but I would like to avoid it if possible. The alarm was installed in Germany. Thanks in advance.

3 requests
1) unscrew the tiny Phillips screw on the rear of the unit.
2) pop off the unit's cover/lid. 3) take a close-up picture of the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) and post it, here. Thank you, |

"Key Stop," perhaps?
I need closer pictures (macro) of the PCB (front and rear), please.
Also, are there alphanumeric (text/#s) markings anywhere on the plastic pieces of the remote? I found this, but I have no idea what it is, actually... http://www.scm.nl/dienst/handboek_2003/docs/Hfdst092003.pdf |

Is there a FCC ID# number anywhere?
If so, go to: http://www.remotesunlimited.com/shop/default.asp :-) neil 1988 360TE AMG 1993 500E |

my opinion
Still not in possession of an FCC ID #, I will speculate that it is NOT a CrimeGuard remote.
Standing by for more data... |

Ok. Here's some more info. Forgive the quality of the pics. Also, I made a drawing of the back of the contoller (again forgive my kindergatden quality work) The squigly lines represent text I can't read. The figure is of a German eagle. There is no FCC code. Should I just get a new alarm installed?

no idea
The lack of data/clear images/legible text on the PCB makes this alarm remote impossible for me to identify.
I suggest e-mailing (clear, extremely close up/macro) pictures of it to German car stereo/mobile alarm installation shops. I am sorry I could not be of more assistance! |
