K&N in 190 E

So what did you do? Keep the K&N filter in or switch back to the stock air filter? I wonder if the K&N is causing the sluggish start and sappy acceleration? I gotta tell you, I have a 2.6L 190 E with a 5-Speed and I pulled the R16 and the car is a slug.

This week-end I'm going to put in a new OVP and I'll clean the K&N filter. I'm tempted to put the 750 ohm R16 back in and put a stock air filter in, too.

No, the K&N has nothing to do with your problem, unless it is so clogged up that your engine can not breathe but if that was the case your car wouldn't run.

The R16 is not the issue either, your going to have to look at other issues, like air/fuel mixture, plugs, rotor, dist cap, plug wires etc. Sounds like you need a full or partial tuneup.
