Probably someone with dreams bigger than his pocketbook and just could'nt come up with the cash. My guess. Unless on inspection of car it is not as nice as pictures. Maybe there are Clingon spirits in the car. Who knows?

Someone purchased it and brought it to BergWerks to get some mods added (e.g., 1st gear start, etc.).
Shatner's 500E is in good shape, and he signed it under the center armrest so you can see it when it's flipped-up. :-) neil
