You crack me up, sometimes, Fad!

Did you know that ArizonaDAK has only 27K miles on his 1992 500E!!!

None of us are gettin' any younger - and, as they say, "you can't take it with you (but maybe I'll be buried in my 500E so NO ONE ELSE can have it)...

I respectfully suggest/submit/recommend you DRIVE your 500 before it withers away - it's not a bottle of wine, after all!!!

Fhat the Wuck is with all the HEH HEHs?

So far I have parted with the cost of a 99 BMW 540iT and an S6 Avant solely for the purpose of reserving and preserving the use of the One and Only which can not be replaced EVER.

We all know that IF we use something special every day, we will come to appreciate that something special a lot less than when we felt really special when we first used it or if we only used it for special occaisions.

I know that the last sentence was a little "deep" so let me cut to the chase - THEY DON'T MAKE THESE ANYMORE. Use them sparingly.

Don't be silly, guys and gals. It's a Benz. Go for the 250K Km grille badge!

I got lasered the other day driving to work. 53 in a 35, driving with traffic, just picked out. Moves like that make me regret taking it out for a drive. Sometimes I'll drive the Tahoe for a whole week. Then I miss the 500E. It loves to be driven.

Greetings!

I am enjoying the E500 every chance I get these days and have booked 43.3k on the odo as of last night... constantly longing for more unhampered road though

Solo is the only opportunity to have fun with the car since my co-pilot vigilently regulates "enthusiastic driving" below 80mph!

Run- yep, I'm aware that ADak is a lucky fellow to have about 30k on his 500e and surely any car will wither away from lack of use. With that in mind, I'm trying to keep mine well oiled with weekend excursions- - but trips to the grocery store and dry cleaners aren't really suited for it

Mark- sorry to hear of the laser hit- - funny on my end- that I pick up tickets when driving vehicles other than the e500...haven't had a ticket in the e500 (knock on wood)

Tom- I totally appreciate the way the E500 drives and is put together everytime I'm in it since its not my daily driver- - it makes every drive in it a "special occasion"!

Any 500e500 owner close their 250k badge?

Best regards
-fad
