Trunk light stays on
I've been dealing with electrical draws that have left me with a dead battery stranded several times in the past month. After replacing a faulty power antenna, my problem seemed solved.
However, I just noticed today that my trunk light does not appear to go out when I shut the trunk. Is there an easy way to disable this lamp so that it won't drain the battery overnight? Thanks in advance |

The easiest thing to do is just remove the bulb. It will be hot, so take appropriate measures-gloves, handkerchief, etc...

you could even pop out the switch, disconnet the wire(s)/ tape up then pop back in the switch for looks if you like

I have the exact OPPOSITE problem: my trunk-light will NOT illuminate!!!
I plan to fix this when Susanto I., Scott C. and I install my ICE components, in the next few weeks. |
