Shock Question

I have a full set of shocks off of a '99 E420 (W210) that have 4K mi. on them and would like to put them on my Dad's '95 E300 (W124).

Will they work and if so, what type of ride would they provide?

The rears MIGHT work, however the fronts are COMPLETELY different.

You need to compare the lenghts of both rear shocks removed.
