Whether or not this beast is powered by a mercedes engine. What engine does / did MB make that's all aluminum and can be punched out to 526 c.i. I suspect this is propbably an aftermarket version of an American v8 meant for drag racing only.

I've been hanging at home and around since the new year - sorry I missed the GTG. My car is running really nice right now. No complaints. It's just about to turn over 120,000, and it's running like a clock. I try to only take it out when I can find some running room on our beloved freeways here in LA.
