Limo Bar on a 190E

I purchased a limo sway bar not too long ago to fit on my 190E project and I am having some trouble getting it to fit. My main problems are bushing problems. I don't have bushings/brackets that make it all work together. Can anyone help me out here? Here is the info on what I have:

Parts Number Inner Bushing: 124 323 46 85
Inner Diameter: 1.125" or 28.5mm
Outer Diameter: 1.725" or 44mm

Part Number Outer Bushing: 124 323 51 85
Inner Diameter: 0.877" or 22mm
Outer Diameter: 1.534" or 39mm

All mm measurements are + or - 1 mm

I don't know if these are the right bushings to use. They don't seem to fit int he brackets loosely so that the sway bar has room to move around.

i recently installed a 27.5mm w124 sportline bar on my 16v. the w124 limo bar has to be similar in design. you have to order w124 brackets and bracket halves to connect to the frame. on the sportline bar the ends are the same diameter as the 16v bar so i just used 16v bushings to connect to the control arm. i used the stock 16v bracket halves to the control arm also.

I must have the wrong bushings. I know how to do the conversion, but I think the bushings that I have are too big for the brackets I have.

what brackets do you have?

you should have W124 brackets and bracket halves and you should have W201 bracket halves for the control arm. you'll need the W124 brackets to fit the bushings but you'll also need them to not bend like W201 brackets will do when you apply the increased force of that huge anti-roll bar.

i used bushings 124 323 5185 and 123 323 4585. it makes sense that the inner bushing would be different since your bar is 28.5mm and mine is 27.5mm. so i think you've got the right bushings.

i used 124 323 0426 and 124 323 0526 brackets and 124 323 1140 bracket halves for the inner bushings. i used 201 323 2340 bracket halves for the outer bushings.
