What screen is this?

I saw this screenshot on a German SL forum - is this the new DVD manual people are talking about, or is this an internal MB manual:

Also, can someone set the record straight on the availability of shop manuals for the 129's - Looking for a 129 chassis manual and a 113 engine manual. thanks. Most posts seem to indicate the new DVD is of only moderate usefulness.

I have this CD - it's quite honestly pants. I bought mine from eBay - 0.99UKP and that's what it's worth. You're welcome to a copy if you really want.

It's maybe ok as a collection filler, but then again I haven't gone through the 'official' R129 DVD yet. Many say that's pants too

I use www.alldataydiy.com and have found it quite comprehensive albeit I suspect not as complete as Startek. Of course the WIS is out there if you look hard enough but the GUI was designed is the 60s I think!! However it's got the lot.

I would like to look through the DVD, but guess I'll wait till it shows up on eBay - or if anyone wants a swap for WIS?

Thanks, yes it seems unusually difficult to find available tech data for the 129's (esp with the 113 motor) - I'd like to be able to do farily easy jobs like brakes, radiator replacement, etc., but am hesitant to do much without the proper manuals.

As far as I'm aware the Benz manuals are not publicly available, the only 'official' resource is the recently announced DVD but it hasn't received much praise here.

alldata is probably your best starting place - it's pretty comprehensive but isn't a workshop manual.

These cars are pretty self-explanatory (apart from some of the electronic modules), so servicing yourself shouldn't be a problem - hey I do mine.
