Question Top Locking Cylinder Replacement

M.B. Doc gave great directions to replace the hydraulic cylinder but I had a bit of a snag. When I went to unbolt the hydraulic cylinder from the hydraulic line, it was on so tight that the bolt got stripped and I don't want to damage the line trying to get it off. Any suggestions? Almost time to put the hardtop on so I will need to get this done soon. Thanks, Jason R.

What is your year and model? I just did this job about a month ago, and if I remember correctly, the hydraulic line just has a tapered end that you insert into the cylinder inlet and the cylinder clips lock the line(s) in place...it's a press fit.

What are you experiencing in your repair?
