1998 500 SL engine stalling problem

Hello all. I am in a need for a good advice. I have 98 SL sports that stalls its engine at low speed ( for example when I slow down to stop at the stop light) or at high temperature ( at hot days of summer when I am driving in city with stop and go traffic pattern ) I am not sure its related together but. When I restart the engine it seem to be fine. car Idles fine does not go up or down in standing. Before the car stalls, car seem to make sudden movement foward then all the dash board light comes on then stop. can you help? recently i have replaced the one of the two O2 sensors , and replaced the fuel filter (electively). at high way it seem to work fine.

That is a very unusual problem. Guessing about something like this would be really hard and something you could keep throwing money at. My advice is to take it to the dealer and have them hook it up to the computer to determine what is going on. Is your CE light on? Maybe something in the alarm system cutting the ignition? It could be fuel related or ignition, hard to tell. If you have not already take it in to an MB dealer and at least that way you won't keep guessing!
