DIY motor mount replacement info needed.

Has anyone replaced motor mounts (DIY) on their 450SL ? Things look pretty thight to get access and wonder if I use my engine hoist to pull up on the engine to take the load off the mounts is a good idea? Do I need to remove anything to get at them?

I bought the booklet at **************.com and completed this repair. The booklet made it much easier. Step-by-step with pictures. Took me an afternoon.

I bought the Haynes manual this morning and there is a section in there to follow for this proceedure. I hadn't expected that of the 3 Haynes repair manuals that I knew to be available, one of the three manuals covers the 3.5 and 4.5 liter V-8 for 350 SL 450SE 450SEL 450SL and 450SLC 71 thru 80, if anyone is interested, got it from Autozone.

I was going to order a CD but this manual seems to cover quite a bit. :)
