Radiator overflow tank filler
The lip of my radiator overflow tank filler has partially broken off. As a result, the cap has to be positioned very carefully, otherwise it will fall off.
Any suggestions? Should I try and solder on a new piece (it is brass) or perhaps try and find a another tank (where would I get this, preferably in Canada?) |

If the tank that your radiator cap fits on has a broken neck you should replace it. This is part of the primary cooling system and the pressure is maintained and relieved there, so having a precarious fitting of the cap would and could create issues with losing coolant through the overflow system. You could locate one at the dealer, or order one on line. Good luck!
