Best MB Yards in Los Angeles Area
 

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a good 450SL junkyard in Los Angeles/Orange County area. Can folks please reply and let me know what you've found. I'm willing to drive 100 miles for a deal.

Look in the Sylmar area (East San fernando Valley). That's junk yard city. I know of one MB only yard and another one MB and BMW. They both have piles of cars.

In Sun Valley, right of the I5, are a couple of Mercedes specific yunkyards.

Thanks for the tips folks. I'd like more specific info such as names or even better phone numbers so I can make arrangements to visit them. Don't think I'm not appreciative though. I may take a roadtrip up there, but it's quite a jaunt and I wonder if they're opend Saturdays.

They are not a junkyard / pick-a-part in the traditional sense of the word. They have a huge warehouse where they stockpile used parts on pallets. They have practically everything.

You go to the parts counter and they will find the part and bring it to you.

They also have a large business selling used used Mercedes, BMW's, Porsche's, Jaguar's, etc., as well as providing service on the cars.

Stay away from Harouts BMW/Mercedes
 

Stay away from Harouts used Mercedes Parts. These guys are very rude and nasty. Not only that, they totally try to rip you off. They wanted to charge me $150 for a grill. I got the same one at pick your part for $20.

I've had no problems at harouts, I actually found my part cheaper than other yards.
