Wierd place for an oil leak.
My 1998 500SL has developed a small oil leak to the left of the drivers side sunvisor. Is there an oil resevoir close by? There are oil droplets appearing on the driver"s seat when I enter the vehicle. I have not added oil to any moving part.

That sounds like hydraulic fluid from the locking actuators for the top. They are in the overhead above the sun visors. This is not an uncommon problem. Do a search in this forum.
