560SL roof handles

Hi all

I bought after market convertible roof handles for my 560SL. they are supposed to be able to stay in all the time.

but one of them always slips out. is there a way to screw them in permanently?

Just use some JB Weld... or you could just rap a little tape around it.

Permanent?

I don't think you'd want them permanent - you'll need them for the hard top as well.......

JB WELD.. IS THAT that a glue?

I will use the other handle that comes with the car for the hard top...

it is soo much easier to drop the top with these little handles in place..

for any of you that dont have them.. i recommend you buy them..!

I think it is a metal glue. Where did you get the handles? Are they chrome?

I got a set off of eBay for about $27. They fit into the slots perfectly and I've not had a problem with either of them slipping out. I have to agree with Matt - they are great to have!
