UK Club SL Day (Pics)

I attended the UK Mercedes-Benz Owner's Club "SL Day" at Woburn Abbey in Bedfordshire this weekend (28 August 2005). It was a lengthy drive for me, approximately 280 miles which (to my surprise) I was able to cover in 3h05mins, having set out at the ungodly hour of 5.40am (now that is what motoring by SL is all about).

The event was open to all members of the UK Club, with reserved display parking for those driving SLs of any vintage. Woburn is a beautiful setting and we had uncharacteristically beautiful weather, too. There were at least 200 cars present, including 4 Gullwings and 4 300SL Roadsters. SLs of all types were represented. An incredible number of 107s came, surely over 100.
