I need trigger points

I need a set with the cable. Mine are diffenently bad. I work with them and get all injectors going and in a few minutes one set has quit working. Visual inspection show alot of wear on the plastic section that rides on the cam on 1 set.

Has anyone found a source with a great price you trust? I found Maximum auto on the web but have never dealt with them.

Thanks
CG

You might want to try Performance Products @ 800.243.1220 for a new set. For possible used source, try Sun Valley Mercedes (Peter) @ 818.768.0704. Hope this helps!

I can hear some of the injectors clicking but not the others. I have had them all working by removing the trigger points, but that usually on last about an hour.

Trigger Points Prices Can Vary Greatly

Mine went bad, too. I found out that the points varied a lot in price for the same Bosch part number when bought on line from the same store! The 1974 and 1975 were identical part numbers except the '74 points were over $400!! So I bought the points indicated for the 1975 and saved almost $200. To be sure, I called Bosch to verify the number was correct, too.

Look at www.maximumautoparts.com and check the year before and after to see if the part numbers are the same. Then compare price and smile if you are lucky.

Bosch Trigger Points
Model Engine: 117.983
Price: $280.45
Maximum Part #: F2070-15984
