1973 450sl Vacuum Diagram
I tried this in the tech side with no avail. I have searched all over trying to find a vacuum diagram for my 73 450sl and have had no luck. The Haynes manual only list the cali. car. If someone could help I would be greatful. Thanks

Here's your problem: the vacuum system is not summarized on a single diagram for this model. The CD ROM manual has it spread over several job numbers. So, depending on the problem area, you may need to look for your answer in several places, and you may have to piece it together from several diagrams. Underhood emissions vacuum is shown on diagrams in job 14-001 and probably shown best in 14-050. Central locking systems are shown in 80-900, 901 and 902. HVAC controls are shown in job 83-020. All these can probably be emailed, but I think file sizes are too large for posting here. And, I've never figured out how to attach a PDF to one of these posts anyway. You will be best served getting a factory CD ROM from here: http://www.classictechlit.mbusa.com/MB/ Prices have dropped a bunch and they are now only $20 plus shipping, as I recall.
