The best sl's

I'm considering the purchase of a later model SL and wonder if I could get some opinions about what is the best year between 1990 and 1995. I've heard stories about the soft top operator problems and some of the other bugs the later models have.
Advise would be appreciated.

This will be a good one to watch. I have always wondered the same thing. Obviously, the '93-'95 will have the harness issue unless it has already been replaced. Too bad they never put the 103 engine with a five speed manual transmission in the early 90's SL.

I thought that 92 was the bad year for harnesses? Anywho why not a 96 up? Better seats, engine, trans, appearance, soft top controller, blah blah.

But they did, just didn't bring it to the U.S.
