Anyone fitted mudflaps to their SL and if so got any pictures?

Great question, I've been thing the same thing. I've seen mercedes ones on bay and thought about trying to make them fit, but havn't tried yet.

Are you adding the kind where it is made of ABS hard plastic, or the kind that is a rubber deal? Look on like performance products, as they tend to carry some accessories like that.

Why would you want to? Just more crud grabbers so stuff gets inbetween em and the body and rots out the metal.

My '88 300Sl had mudflaps fitted from new (perhaps its a UK thing!! with all the rain we get) I've attached a couple of pictures of side/front and rear view. Cheers
