1991 300SL Hard Top
I neeed a hard top for my 300SL. I have been looking on ebay and some sellers say the same top will fit 1990 - 2002 and others say that 95 or later and 98 or later were a little different. Does anyone know for certain what years hard top will fit a 1991 SL? Thanks. davidjroberts@sbcglogal.net

Not 100% sure, but I think the tops are the same, but the gasket / seals are different.

129-=300SL Hardtop
The hardtops from 1990thru 94 work with no changes at all to the weatherstrip, Trust me on this one as I went down the garden path trying to fit a 1992 Hardtop to a 2000 SL As the man said the tops are the same its the weatherstriping thats different, and changing the weatherstrip can be expensive and a pain to do, By the way FYI 300,500 and 600 are the same top...good luck in your quest....
