Arrow Adjusting The Arm Rest On A 450 or A 380 SL

Hi Group,

My armrest on my 1980 450 SL is not sitting straight. Is is leaning down in the front. The armrest on other SL's that I have seen sit straight. I know that is how it is supposed to sit. Is there an adjustment or a repair to raise the front up on it and level it?

Thanks
Jack

It of course depends on the angle of the seat. There must be some seat angle where yours is straight.

I can't say if it is adjustable up or down, but mine was off at an angle towards the pass side when I bought the car. I "formed" (polite word for bent) it back. I don't think you will/should be able to do this up or down.

The armrest is straight if I tilt the seat in an almost flat lying down position
